Pacific Daylight Savings Time (PDT) begins 2:00am Sunday, April 4. "Spring forward."
Early morning: 60 degrees F. Slight tail wind. Flat conditions.
8:18am: Cross tail wind, picking up considerably.
8:29: Calming. Cross tail wind.
8:52: Cloud cover. Partially flat water.
9:05: Flat conditions. Outgoing tide, favoring lanes 1 and 2.
11:00: Direct strong tailwind, against an outgoing tide.
1:22pm: Strong cross winds are forcing countdown starts.
2:32: Winds are calming down. Straight cross wind from lane 1 to lane 6. Typical wind conditions for this course.
2:55: Sunny. 65 degrees F. Cross winds but course is well rowable.
3:27: Still have a cross wind, but the water is calm.
4:00: Winds have calmed down. The water is glassy.
Tides: Races started between 7:00 am and 7:43 am will have some help from an incoming tide until 7:43 when the tide is high. From 7:43 am until 2:25 pm, the tide will be going out and running against the crews. After 2:25 pm the tide will turn again in favor of the crews.

Masters Club Events
The handicap for younger crews is imposed at the start line. Therefore, each handicapped crew's handicap in seconds is added at the start by staggering the starts of the crews. The first 500m split and the total time for a handicapped crew is inflated by its handicap. See each race report for specific handicap information.
